Pick-up and Drop-off Areas
Enjoy our free waiting area: the Cell Phone Lot
The terminal curbsides are for active pick ups and drop offs only - parking is not allowed on airport roadways and terminal frontages. Passengers must be ready with all of their bags. Unattended vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Have some time before a pick up or drop off?
Cell Phone lot
LaGuardia offers a free cell phone lot for you to conveniently wait at before picking up or dropping off a passenger. The lot is located less than 10 minutes from all terminals.
The lot is located off-airport on 94th Street between 23rd Avenue and Ditmars Boulevard. The lot is open 7 days a week, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. ET.
For directions to the free Cell Phone Lot, enter “LGA Free Cell Phone Lot opens in a new tab” in your GPS or follow the signs when entering the airport.
Accessible curbside unloading for departing flights
You may unload passengers and luggage at the curb outside each terminal at LaGuardia. These areas are close to terminal entrances and often provide weather protection. If someone is picking you up, they may not wait at the curb unless you and your luggage are already present. If you are not ready, they must wait in the Cell Phone Lot until you call.
There are curbside check-in options to assist with luggage. At Terminal B departures, American Airlines offers curbside check-in for $4 per bag (in addition to standard bag-check fees) and Southwest offers curbside check-in for no additional charge beyond standard bag check fees. At Terminal C, Delta offers curbside check-in for no additional fee (standard checked-bag fees apply).
If you need assistance with checking bags or navigating to your gate, contact your airline at least 24 hours before your flight. Travelers using motorized wheelchairs or scooters should review airline policies when booking.
Terminal B assistance call button
Terminal B has wheelchair assistance call button at the Departures level. Passengers looking for wheelchair assistance should follow the instructions with the wheelchair logo and underneath the sign you will find an assistance call button.
